Corrupt judge need to be dealt with- junad Muhammad
Second Republic lawmaker, Dr Junaid Mohammed, yesterday said if Nigeria could arrest 90 per cent of its corrupt judges, the country will be better for it.
He also urged Nigerians not to support the evil most of the judges had inflicted on Nigeria.
In an interview with reporters Mohammed described the move by the DSS as the right step in the right direction.
He said: "Corruption is the number one vice in Nigeria, we all know that. And without mincing words, we have seen that from the Supreme Court to the Customary Courts, some of the judges are very corrupt and I believe strongly they need to be dealt with seriously.
"Nobody in Nigeria should support these judges as they have shown how corrupt they are. Many of them are corrupt and are not ashamed. So, if Nigeria can arrest at least 90 percent of those corrupt judges, this country will be better for it. They have caused a lot of problems for this country, so they need to be dealt with."

He said, "If what the DSS has done within the law is wrong, I will join other Nigerians in condemning the move. But having spoken to many lawyers, I can authoritatively say that no law stops the security operatives from arresting any Judge".
"I believe very strongly that those Lawyers who have been speaking against what the DSS has done are not only greedy but they are selfish and crooks who are bent on nothing than to destroy the what is the hope of a common man" he stated.
