Real Madrid transfer news: Messi wants Hazard at Barcelona, swap deal for de Gea and more
All the transfer rumours and news involving Real Madrid.
Hazard targetted by Barcelona
Lionel Messi wants to see Chelsea star Eden Hazard play for Barcelona next season, reports Don Balon.Messi thinks Hazard is the rightful heir to his throne at Camp Nou and it would be a great loss for the Catalans if he were to pick Real Madrid instead.
According to reports, Messi has been pushing the Barcelona board to make a move for Hazard next summer even if Chelsea's asking price is beyond £200 million.
However, Don Balon believes that the Belgian may have already made up his mind to join Real Madrid given his admiration for Zinedine Zidane.
Hazard has openly admitted his fondness for Zidane's style of management and how it would be a dream for him to represent Real Madrid in the future.
Real Madrid want Alexis Sanchez in January
Real Madrid are eager to sign an attacking player in January and have targetted Arsenal's contract rebel Alexis Sanchez, reports Daily Express.
Sanchez is yet to sign a new contract at Arsenal and could leave in January. Manchester City had also shown some interest in signing the Chilean, however, Pep Guardiola is happy with the start his team have made and does not want to risk upsetting the balance by making a superstar signing.
Real Madrid, meanwhile, have struggled due to a lack of goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, and Karim Benzema and Zinedine Zidane could be forced into signing Alexis and making him part of the starting XI.
De Gea once again subject of Real Madrid interest
Reports indicate Real Madrid are looking at a massive clearout in January with as many as eight players set to be shown the door following the side's poor start to the season.
Club president Florentino Perez wants to see de Gea playing for Real Madrid at the earliest and will push for the deal to conclude in January.
It may also be interesting to see United's approach as they could demand Gareth Bale in return instead of Navas.
