Paris Saint Germain pulled off one of the biggest coups in recent years when they signed Neymar from Barcelona for a record £198 million. However, the hefty transfer fee and Neymar's wages have left them a little strapped, and the French champions are looking to reinforce their team with more economic alternatives.

According to reports from the Mirror, Paris Saint Germain are keen on signing Arsenal's Chilean winger Alexis Sanchez, who will be out of contract by the end of the season.
Paris Saint Germain have a host of fringe players who they are eager to offload in the imminent future. Luckily for Les Parisiens, one man's trash is another man's treasure, and Arsenal are interested in acquiring the services of PSG's out-of-favour Julian Draxler.

The young German has several suitors and is currently being courted by Liverpool, who would like to bring him to Anfield on a loan deal. However, Arsenal may be able to offer PSG more than Liverpool is willing to, and Sanchez could come in handy as a bargaining chip.

Alexis Sanchez has chosen to approach the brouhaha surrounding his contract with the least amount of tact that he can muster up. The Chilean has sulked and gesticulated wildly at his teammates on the pitch, and at times, he has seemed like he's just going through the motions.

The steady stream of goals from last season has dwindled to a trickle, and it seems like he is counting down the days until he leaves. Paris Saint Germain are as good as any club at the moment, but Manchester City remains a possible destination for the Chilean.

It will take a miracle for Alexis to renew his contract, and Arsenal will be loathed to lose him for free. At the moment it seems like there will be an Alexis-shaped hole in the Emirates' fence come January, left behind by a Chilean who would rather be anywhere else. If Arsenal can negotiate a deal for Draxler, Sanchez could easily be headed for Paris.
